During these uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic, marked by social distancing, quarantining and great concern, we would like to reach out to our members.
With so many individuals stepping up to help others in unique ways across our country, it is time to also look at our own community. In particular, we would like to reach out to BLYC members in need of help. Many of our students, currently at home due to school and university closings and Governor Evers’ “safer at home” orders, came up with the idea of setting up a local network of helpers to provide aid with grocery shopping, household chores, and other services to support their Beaver Lake community.
At this time of social restriction, we would like to encourage you to reach out to us if you are in need of help and we will coordinate this.
Please stay safe and healthy and we are certain we will emerge from this crisis with an even stronger Beaver Lake community. We would like to sincerely thank our younger generation for coming up with this socially responsible & thoughtful idea and for their willingness to help.
It is an honor for us to help facilitate this.
